Benefits and points: how “time left to practice” is counted

Entry

Practice shows Benefits and Points separately; “time left” is their sum. Buy add-on packs in Purchase center (unused stays); benefits last ~3 days and cannot be allocated.

Benefits ≠ points

Speaking shows them separately:

  • Benefits — platform grants (trial / check-in / invite, etc.), about 3 days; not purchasable or allocatable
  • Points — Subscription Points (current period; no rollover) + Add-on packs (one-time; unused stays)

“Time left to practice” is usually the sum. Deduction order: benefits → subscription points → add-on packs.

Buying add-on packs

Use Me → Purchase center (about 100 min / ¥300, 200 min / ¥600). An add-on pack is permanent points—no separate “fuel pack vs points pack” story.

Listening, vocabulary, and speaking items are in Learn → Store. That is separate from add-on minutes. After you buy, they sit in My materials.

Family vs personal

Personal accounts see their own benefits and points; children often practice from points allocated in the family pool. Opening Family / Teaching is not buying another membership.
